Mega Vinyl Records & CD Auction!

With the relocation of a Melbourne institution – PBS 106.7FM, we are thriled to present this Records & CD auction!  PBS made the move to digital and whilst listeners will still get to hear the same music they have grown accustomed to, the digital age has taken over and the station has no need for their huge collection of Records and CDs.  This is a great opportunity to hold a little piece of Melbourne history, so go on, get nostalgic with this incredible collection!

Includes a range of vinyl records, cds, cassette tabes, books, hi-fi equipment and other music memorabilia from PBS.    There’s over 400 lots, including hi fi including a pair of Bang and Oufsen speakers anda Bang and Olufsen BeoSound 9000 CD player.  Literally thousands of records and cds are in this auction.

Another feature of this auction is the suite of photographic prints from Pierre Baroni.  Check out lots 415 – 429.

If you’re keen on a slice of PBS  history – check out the retro dining setting for six, including laminex table with chrome edge and six two tone leather chairs…. straight out of the PBS offices!

The box lots will also be of interest to lovers of particular genres.  For example, Lot 408 is a box of CDs including approximately 90 in total, all hip-hop, Public Enemy, etc.  Other box lots include ambient, new age, world music, country and folk, jazz, pop/rock, alternative/indie, so there is definitely something for everyone in this auction!
