Sell your Vinyl Records at Abbeys Auctions!
Every week Abbeys Auctions has vinyl records, CDs and hi fi equipment up for auction. From time to time we hold special auctions featuring LPs, 45’s and 12” singles, CDs, Stereo equipment, speakers, books and a range of memorabilia relating to the music industry. Our most recent vinyl record and CD auction was to help radio station PBS 106.7FM in Melbourne to move hundreds of music as part of their relocation to a smaller premises and an upgrade to digital technology.
It’s wonderful to see the resurgence in vinyl records over the last few years. From pop, rock, jazz, disco, electronic, blues and more, our special record and hi-fi equipment auctions typically have a wide range of genres. Now is the time to dig out your vintage record collection and see if you are holding onto any treasures!
Here’s a fun fact: The Guinness World Record for the Most expensive vinyl record sold at auction was The White Album (The Beatles) for a whopping $790,000 US Dollars! This was a mono copy sold by Ringo Starr and was in near mint condition. Source: Guinness World Records, accessed June 2021
Whilst you might not have any records that can beat that, most vinyl records in good condition still have some value.
